[Inspired by a chat on Facebook]
You’re about to do something that you have never done, or you know is a pain in the a**.
You’re afraid, you doubt, you’re angry.
You’re sharing it with someone.
And this someone wants to encourage you.
She or He will then tell you : « be brave », « poor you », « good luck »
Like if the suceess you will have or the courage you will need depends on fate or on external pressure.
It’s not completely true.
The vision is encouraging but the words are clumsy.
To my point of view could be phrased differently such as: « you’ll suceed », « I’ll think of you (positively) », « you’ll do great »
*What do you think? Do you have other phrases that you like to pronounce when encouraging a friend? What are they?*
Laurent- « Tiger eyes ! »
Sab– « go for it, you will make it ! » or « just do it ! » (when you believe you are doing the right thing) , or simply » go ! »
Hiba – « I’ll think of you » or « I’m sending good vibes! »
